The LG&E brown bill just arrived, the pantry is bare, and rent is due before your next check. If that is your month in Louisville, you are not alone, and help is organized by neighborhood here.

Louisville's churches run daily meals downtown, and congregations back 13 neighborhood "community ministries" that handle food and limited utility and rent help by ZIP code. Funding is often tight, so call your area ministry early, bring ID and your bill, or dial 2-1-1.

Details reflect what each ministry publishes as of October 2026, not future guarantees.
